Jobbie story
Jobbie popped out of our heads in 2021 when we wanted to make a school cooperative, but when we sat down to talk about it for the very first time, we remembered how good it would be if we could just apply for jobs by dragging us to the right. We shut down the laptop, and the school cooperative turned it into a job search application, which simplifies the application and enrollment procedure. After long preliminary work, brainstorming, and many good and bad ideas, we started developing to bring you Jobbie, the future of job search.
Internship, really just photocopying and making coffee?
Many people think that an internship position is nothing more than making coffee and photocopying, or addressing envelopes. We started Jobbie after years of internship experience, so we know exactly what tasks actually fall into this role. In the beginning, you will definitely have simpler tasks ahead of you, but if you go beyond this ambition, you will soon find your place in the team and you can improve a lot. Hard work pays off!
Before the first interview
Before the first interview, it’s perfectly okay if you get a little excited, most likely your interviewers will be aware of this as well, as they were once in a similar situation. It’s important to know that they are positive about you, they need your talent. Don’t claim to be more than reality, but emphasize your strengths. When it comes to it, feel free to mention that you have applied for more than one job, suggesting that you are ambitious. Honesty and a wide smile are important. Good luck!
You were not admitted to university. This is the end?
Final exams didn’t go as planned, or was the point limit raised this year? You didn’t get accepted? Don't be discouraged for a minute, that's not the end! Don't panic, you can use this time to improve yourself. If your favorite major is not available on extra application, you still have countless opportunities to get the most out of this year. If you are retaking the final exams again in October, start preparing by the end of the summer, and if you need money for a trip or anything else, find a job at Jobbie!
